Surrender yourself to the LORD, and wait patiently for him.   Do not be preoccupied with others who appear to succeeds in his way when he carries out his schemes.

All living things and beings have a life cycle. God created it to be so since the creation of earth.

  •  “And God said, Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens, to divide between the day and the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years; ” – Gen. 1:14
  • “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” – Gen. 8:22

Much like the creation story and humans, the church has a life cycle.  Churches are born for a certain time and place. With that birth comes growth, energy and then comfort. We become comfortable with the way things are going.

Over time the communities where the church is located change, congregational generations and demographics change.  The ministry must make adjustments to accommodate  these changes by recognizing new growth opportunities in programs and ideas without compromising the intregity of the WORD of GOD!

Every church has a life and life cycle. The key for a church to have a vibrant life is when Jesus is Lord, and the Holy Spirit is driving the church to a healthy future.  We must continously seek the Lord and pray for a fresh anointing.

Thank God that gives us hope and promise to never forsake us or leave us alone.

The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease.  Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.  I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” Lamentations 3: 22-24
